PHOTOGRAPHY
I love to capture tiny real moments with people and wild animals in their natural spaces rather than orchestrating poses. I experiment with anticipating emotions in my subjects, and I capture them as they happen.
My greatest experiments so far have been with photographing wild animals, paintings as well as architectural beauty and nature's beauty. I photographed lions, cheetahs, rhinoceroses, elephants, bucks, tigers, zebras and giraffes in Kruger & Pilanesberg National Park in South Africa. I captured the beauty in paintings and architectural marvels at Notre Dame, Museé du Louvre, Arc de Triomphe in Paris, the windmills around Amsterdam, Grand Place and Atomium in Belgium. I photographed nature's breathtaking wonder at Wachau, Werfen and the world's largest ice caves in Salzburg.
MUSIC
Music is in my breath. It purifies my soul and enhances my imagination. It acts as an energy booster as well. Whether it is Indian classical tunes or Mozart or other Western beats, I would love to explore music therapy. Yanni is my inspiration!
Being passionate about sounds, I ventured into audio engineering and learnt Cubase as part of music production. I use my gift of audio-visual synesthesia as I journey forward in this field.
CATS
During one of my visits to Vienna, I found a companion in a ginger bob cat during extremely cold winters. Since then, I understood the importance of pets in being a part of our lives. Now, Biboo, a Persian cat is my play mate. One can learn to pounce on opportunities, time management, etc by just spending time with them, observing them and learning from them. Biboo finds and challenges the hidden child within me even as an adult now.
